How we rank cars
In what order do you see cars, and why? It is all here, plainly.
In search results
You decide the order. Without a choice the cheapest car comes first. You can then choose from:
- Lowest price
- Highest price
- Newest
- Year
- Mileage
- Best price vs market
- Least value lost
- Most below new price
Your filters decide which cars you see; the order you choose decides the sequence. A car that is for sale in several places is shown once.
In “Similar cars”
On a car page we show six other cars that resemble the one you are viewing. The closer a car is, the higher it appears. These count (the same model counts most, the same fuel least):
- the same model, otherwise the same make
- the same class (segment) and the same body type
- an asking price close to the car you are viewing
- the same fuel
What does not count
- Payment: no dealer or seller can buy a higher place. A subscription does not change the order.
- Who you are: we build no profile of you and do not adapt the order to your earlier visits.
