Median per year. New price: what the car cost new in the Netherlands, the RDW catalogue price (incl. VAT, BPM and factory options, without delivery costs). For cars imported used: the Dutch catalogue price of that version. Value kept: asking price divided by the car’s own new price. Drop per year: value kept against the next newer year; a plus means that year asks relatively more. Older cars have more miles, which is part of the drop. * Fewer than 5 cars: indicative only. Asking prices, not sale prices.
The Corolla returned in 2019 to replace the Auris and immediately became a favourite with lease drivers, taxi firms and families. The Touring Sports (estate) with 1.8 or 2.0 Hybrid is especially popular used: roomy, frugal, with a standard automatic and a strong reputation for reliability. Many come to market after four or five years of leasing, with full dealer history.
Price depends on engine, mileage and trim. The 2.0 Hybrid is quicker and worth more; Dynamic, Executive and GR-Sport with adaptive cruise control, heated seats and camera are popular. Buyers ask about servicing and the hybrid battery. Is the car a BTW-auto (VAT-qualifying car)? Say so, because business buyers search for that. Start with a valuation.

Yes. In Europe, Toyota’s compact car was called the Auris from 2007 to 2019. In 2019 the Corolla name returned for the new generation. Technically, the Corolla is much more modern.
The 2.0 Hybrid in a high trim such as GR-Sport or Executive, with low mileage. The Touring Sports is usually more in demand than the hatchback.
Yes. Corolla hybrids are widely used as taxis and known for durability. With a complete service book and a logical odometer record there are still buyers, although the price is naturally lower.
