Median per year. New price: what the car cost new in the Netherlands, the RDW catalogue price (incl. VAT, BPM and factory options, without delivery costs). For cars imported used: the Dutch catalogue price of that version. Value kept: asking price divided by the car’s own new price. Drop per year: value kept against the next newer year; a plus means that year asks relatively more. Older cars have more miles, which is part of the drop. * Fewer than 5 cars: indicative only. Asking prices, not sale prices.
The B-Class is the practical Mercedes: taller than the A-Class, with a high seat, easy access and a roomy interior. In the Netherlands it is very popular with older drivers and people with limited mobility who want to get in and out comfortably. As a result, there are many well-maintained, low-mileage, one-owner examples.
For these buyers, an automatic is almost a must. Heated seats, a parking camera, Parking Pilot and a tow bar for a bike rack are also popular. With the B 250 e (from 2020), buyers ask about the charging cable and battery. A low-mileage B-Class with dealer history and an automatic sells quickly, often privately. Check the value and write a clear ad text.

Because of the high seat, easy access, comfort and automatic. The car is easy to see out of and roomy without being as big as an SUV.
Yes. Many B-Classes cover few kilometres, but one with, say, 40,000 km is still worth more than one with 120,000 km. A logical RDW odometer record is important.
Yes, if it has a tow bar. Check the maximum nose weight for a rack with e-bikes. It is in the owner’s manual and often in the RDW data.
