The Citigo is Škoda’s version of the Volkswagen up! and Seat Mii: a small, frugal city car with the simple 1.0 MPI three-cylinder. It was built from 2011 to 2020; in its final years only as the electric Citigo-e iV. Buyers are first-time drivers, students and older motorists after a cheap, reliable city car.
As there is no successor and small city cars are getting scarce, demand for a young Citigo stays strong. A five-door with air conditioning and low mileage sells quickly. The Citigo-e iV is one of the cheapest used EVs, with a range of about 260 km (WLTP) and optional rapid charging. In 2026 an EV pays 70% of normal road tax.

Yes, technically. The Citigo, up! and Seat Mii were built in the same factory with the same engines. The Citigo is often slightly cheaper used.
Yes, for town and short trips. It is cheap, simple and has a reasonable range. It suits long trips less well, especially without rapid charging.
Yes, well for a small car. There are more buyers than good young examples, because affordable new city cars barely exist any more.
