Median per year. New price: what the car cost new in the Netherlands, the RDW catalogue price (incl. VAT, BPM and factory options, without delivery costs). For cars imported used: the Dutch catalogue price of that version. Value kept: asking price divided by the car’s own new price. Drop per year: value kept against the next newer year; a plus means that year asks relatively more. Older cars have more miles, which is part of the drop. * Fewer than 5 cars: indicative only. Asking prices, not sale prices.
The Octavia Combi is one of the most chosen company estates in the Netherlands. It offers the space of a bigger car for the price of a compact one, with one of the largest boots in its class. So there are many ex-lease examples with high mileage and full dealer history. Buyers are families, business drivers, caravan owners and taxi firms.
Price is set by engine, gearbox, mileage and trim. A Combi with the 1.5 TSI and DSG, Business Edition kit and a tow bar fetches the most. The RS has its own buyers. With the plug-in (iV), buyers check the charging cable and battery; with diesels, the emission class. Use the fair price check to see whether your asking price is right.
